This BCBG stunner is the perfect dose of LDD

As the weather gets hotter, so do the clothes! What’s a gal’s essential on the spring fling dating circuit? Why the LDD! No it’s not a drug, but the perfect Little Date Dress. I’m so glad the new silhouette has shed off all those voluminous amounts of fabric. The shape is flirty and more body conscious this season as we’ve been donning those empire and maternity-like dresses for way too long. It’s going to take a lot of Core Fusion workouts to sort out my muffin tummy. It seems that my carb intake paralleled with all of those tent dresses have managed to disguise the extra pounds. Nonetheless here are the keys to finding that perfect date dress:

1. Color - skip the black, guys respond to vibrant delish colors of jewel tones, pastels, and even white against sunkissed skin.

2. Shape - show your figure no matter what your size. Everything starts from your waist when enhancing your feminine curve. Pear shaped? Try kimono cinched belts and a curvy neckline to counterbalance. Too much bust? Try a fitted and full skirted dress to complete the hourglass shape. Plus size? Do tailored dresses with darts that keep your middle area smooth and trim.

3. Keep it subtle - It's always best to go for solid colors for maximum versatility. Prints should be subdued. Loud prints just aren't dating wow. Instead go for ombre prints or even delicate florals that are popular this spring.

With these points in mind, having a case of LDD never felt so good!

i wish i could do this dress but im usually in black, and i do not bask in the sun, and i have no shape. suggestions?
